Raiding Etiquette
A raid group is a team and progress cannot take place unless everyone works together. When you sign up for a raid, you are committing towards 10 or more people to make the time and to show up for a raid.
1. If you accept a raid invitation and do not log on in time for invites or for the raid to begin, you will be given a warning. If this happens a second time within a month, you will be denied a raid invitation to the next raid. If a third incident occurs, you will be demoted from a Raider or Trial rank and no longer be permitted to raid with the guild for some time.
2. Appear on time and prepared, delaying the raid by leaving to fetch items after the raid start time will get you a warning.
3. If you cannot attend a raid, it is your responsibility to notify a guild officer or raid leader! Delegating this task to a friend or someone else will not be considered acceptable unless the circumstances are extreme (at the raid leader's discretion).
4. Raid leaders and officers are keeping an eye on Recount and raiding activity. Actions such as spamming DPS statistics in raid chat are considered unacceptable and viewed as nothing but e-peen flexing. Anyone who does this will be given a warning.
Raid Requirements
1. Members are required to be on Teamspeak during raids to hear directions or to communicate when necessary. This is required!
2. Everyone is encouraged to educate themselves on tactics prior to raids. Delaying the raid by requesting complete tactic explanations is not acceptable, the information is available.
3. Know your class. This is crucial for success and progress.
4. You must provide all proper enchants, gems, flasks and even food for your character.
5. Patience is a must. Wipes will happen but it's imperative that everyone remain calm and no accusations or finger-pointing take place. Bad tempers will not be tolerated.
